St. Louis Interfaith Community Explorations (SLICE)
What is SLICE? St. Louis Interfaith Community Explorations (SLICE) is a Faith Beyond Walls interfaith service initiative. This program is designed for youth ages 12 and up to increase social awareness by developing leadership skills though civic engagement, including service projects and poverty simulations.
Time: 9:00 am-2:00 pm Daily
Location: TBD
Volunteers Needed: Groups from 5 to 30. Groups MUST provide one adult per every 5 youth.

Create, plan and lead three days of Fun in the Sun for the children of Kinloch

Kinloch Health Fair
Continuing our dedication to improve the lives of those living in Kinloch, we need volunteers of all ages to assist in the annual Back to School Health Fair. Refreshments provided

Assembly Location: Kinloch Learning Center, (directions given upon registration)
Volunteers Needed: 20 all ages
Project Tasks: Assist with informational booths, backpack give-away's and children's activities.

Expanding the partnership IP/FBW has with NorthSide Ministry, volunteers of all ages are needed to assist in the Back to SChool Health Fair and block Party. Refreshments provided

St. Louis Area FoodBank, a non-profit food distribution center for organizations that feed hungry people in 14 counties in eastern Missouri and 12 counties in southwestern Illinois.

Volunteers Needed: up to 30, All Volunteers Must Register for This Event!
Assembly location: 70 Corporate Woods, St. Louis, MO 63045
Activities: Volunteers will sort and organize donated items for distribution to area food pantries

Tree Planting in Fairgrounds Park
Continuing with our partnership with The Jewish Environmental Initiative and Third Ward Neighborhood Council we will be planting trees and beautifying Fairgrounds Park.
Time: 2:00 pm-5:00 pm Refreshments Provided
Assembly Location: TBA
Volunteers Needed: 25, all ages welcome
Activities: Volunteers will work together to dig holes, plant trees, spread mulch and beautify Fairgrounds Park. Although some tools will be provided, volunteers are encouraged to bring work gloves and shovels.

Make A Difference Day
Make A Difference Day is the most encompassing national day of helping others -- a celebration of neighbors helping neighbors. Everyone can participate. Created by USA WEEKEND Magazine, Make A Difference Day is an annual event that takes place on the fourth Saturday of every October. Join us this year as we collaborate with a local community to make a difference.

St. Louis Area CROP (Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty)Walk
An interfaith event uniting St. louis Metro communities to raise awareness and money for feeding the hungry of St. Louis, the USA and World-Wide
Registration Starts: 1:30 pm
Walk Begins: 2:00 pm
Assembly Location: Upper Muny Parking Lot in Forest Park
Volunteers Needed: No Limit, All ages
Project Tasks: Walker sponsors can optionally designate their contribution to an IRS approved hunger/poverty relief agency or have funds go directly to combat worldwide hunger through Church World Service.

Holiday Meal Delivery—Meals on Wheels
For the eighth year, Faith Beyond Walls is partnering with the Saint Louis Area Agency on Aging to provide holiday meals for the elderly from the Five Star Senior Center.
Time: 9:00 am-12:00 pm
Assembly Location: Given upon Registration
Volunteers Needed: 30 Registered Cars
All participants for the Holiday Meal Delivery MUST register before they can participate!
