Get in Where
You Fit In!
Volunteer Leadership Teams
Recognizing that our volunteers
represent a broad base of experience, we have
established the following opportunities
for individuals to share their expertise
and assume a leadership role in our work as we
plan and implement community projects.
Service Ambassadors
A Service Ambassador
is an individual from a congregation or faith
community who spreads the word about Faith Beyond
Walls and recruits volunteers for upcoming projects
from within that particular community. Ambassadors
meet several times a year to learn about upcoming
projects and programs and to build relationships
within the broader faith community. Ambassadors
also provide feedback to FBW staff regarding project
and program effectiveness. If you are interested
in learning more, contact
us today.
On-Site Volunteer
Coordinators
We are looking
for individuals skilled in any aspect of home
repair (carpentry, painting etc.) and/or gardening
to assist Faith Beyond Walls staff in assessing
potential project sites to determine feasibility
and to give advice regarding the skills and materials
needed to complete the proposed tasks. These
individuals will also assist FBW staff on the
project day in training and overseeing participating
volunteers. If you are interested, contact
us for more information.
