About FBW

Since 2001, Faith Beyond Walls has mobilized over 2000 volunteers. Our volunteers consist of individuals, congregations and faith-based institutions, organizations and schools. As we celebrate our 5th Anniversary in 2006, we fully believe in the power of putting faith into action. Together, our volunteers have built playgrounds…and they have built relationships. They have planted seeds for gardens…and seeds of mutual understanding. They have delivered meals…and they have delivered messages of hope.

Faith Beyond Walls — founded in 1999 by Interfaith Partnership of Metropolitan St. Louis and the St. Louis Clergy Coalition along with St. Louis 2004 — creates opportunities for faith communities to have a meaningful, measurable impact on the quality of life in our region. The organization receives core operating support from the Danforth Foundation.
