PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

  Holiday Meal Delivery Was a Success 4th Year in a Row!

On December 25, 2005, o
ver 100 religiously diverse volunteers came to Five Star Senior Center to help with meal delivery. Regular meal deliverers have this day off for the holidays. Thanks to our volunteers, a meal was provided on this important day for all the seniors. We send a special thanks to Mike Howard and the staff at the Five Star Senior Center for allowing us to continue to serve them!

First 2006 FBW Project Showed How Volunteers Put Their Faith into Action

On February 25, 2006, 33 volunteers came out to convert an old bank building into a new community center by painting walls, bathrooms, and prepare the inside of the building. Volunteers also worked outside by preparing the site for future plantings, cleaning the parking lot and alley adjacent to the parking lot. Special thanks to Sustainable Neighborhoods and South City Cluster. We had a great time!
